Nothing Phone (1) unveiled. What about the price?

Carl Pei’s Nothing has unveiled its first smartphone.  Nothing Phone (1) is – of course – available in the UK. What is its pricing?

Nothing Phone (1) comes with the characteristic styling, has a translucent back with illuminated elements. The body has an IP53 tightness class. It also got a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz as well as the Snapdragon 778G processor, supported by LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 memory. The phone is powered by a 4500 mAh battery with 33-watt charging, but the charger must be purchased separately. There’s also wireless 15 W and reverse 5 W charging. The phone has double main camera, with two 50-megapixel units. The main is accompanied by a wide-angle one, with a field of view of 114 degrees. The phone runs Nothing OS 1 operating system based on Android 12.

In the UK, Nothing Phone (1) is available in white or black, with three memory varieties to choose from. Here’s the list with the pricing:

  • 8+128 GB – £399
  • 8+1256 GB – £449
  • 12+256 GB – £499

Nothing Phone (1) will be sold in the UK exclusively by O2, Smartech at Selfridges and Amazon. The device will be also available at Nothing’s own kiosk in Seven Dials, Covent Garden between July 16 and 20 – but there will be limited daily stock.
