7th April 2023 By: AdamVodafone Wi-Fi is now available at London Tube stations. The reintroduced service has been improved and complements an ever-expanding number of stations and tunnels that have Vodafone 4G and 5G service.
Vodafone has reintroduced Wi-Fi on the London Underground in response to customer demand. The new service – connected to the BAI Communications service platform – is easier to use and will enable Vodafone customers to connect seamlessly to the internet at more than 260 stations across the Tube network.
As well as WiFi at Tube stations, Vodafone customers can also benefit from Vodafone 4G and 5G signal at an ever-growing number of stations and tunnels as part of ongoing improvements to bring mobile coverage to the wider Tube network.
During March 2023, the Northern Line became the latest Tube line to see the arrival of Vodafone 5G at Archway and Tufnell Park stations, with more stations on course to be connected later this year across central London.
