Honor UK launches Honor 70, X8 5G and Honor Pad 8

Honor UK as the first of the European branches of the company, has announced a local premiere of the new Honor 70 smartphone. Additionally, this ned device is joined by Honor X8 5G and Honor Pad 8, also debuting in the UK.

The preorders for all three new devices has started today, while the regular sales will start on September 2.  What is the pricing?

Honor 70 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus processor. A 4500 mAh battery provides energy and has 66 W fast charging. The phone has also a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED screen with a hole for a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture. Honor 70 is also equipped with a main camera with a 54-megapixel IMX800 sensor, a wide-angle 50 Mpx module and a 2-megapixel camera for blurring the background. The device comes in Midnight Black, Crystal Silver, and Emerald Green for £479.99 (8+128 GB) and £529.99 (8+256 GB).

Honor X8 5G is a 5G version of the Honor X8, already available in the UK. It has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ processor and a 5000 mAh battery that fills with 22.5 W. The phone has 6.5-inch LCD HD+ display with  a notch for the 8-megapixel selfie camera. There’s also a 48-megapixel main camera, as well as two 2-megapixel modules for macro and background blurring. The phone is available in Midnight Black and Ocean Blue and a 6+128GB’s of memory for £229.99.

Honor Pad 8 is a tablet with a 12-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels. The device has the Snapdragon 680 processor, and gets energy from a a 7250 mAh battery, charging with a power of 22.5 W. There are eight loudspeakers and two 5-megapixel cameras. There’s only one memory variant available – 4+128 GB for £269.99.
